Current Account

It is the type of account that you can open in TL, foreign currency and precious metals as a demand deposit and no profit share is paid in return.

What is Current Account?

Current accounts are accounts that are opened as demand deposits, that can be deposited and withdrawn at any time and no profit share distribution is made. With our current accounts, you can safely keep your savings in your Vakıf Katılım account and use them whenever you want. You can open your current accounts in Turkish Lira, foreign currency or precious metals.

Turkish Citizen Real Persons residing in Turkey

1. Identity Document: Turkish Identity Card, Turkish Driver's License or Passport

2. Address Confirmation Document: An invoice issued in the last three months (Electricity, water, natural gas, etc.), residence certificate or document issued by a public institution

Foreign Real Persons residing in Turkey

1. Identity Document: Passport or Residence Permit

2. Foreign Identity Number

3. Address Document: Residence permit, passport containing address information, an invoice issued in the last three months or any document containing address information issued by official authorities

Foreign Real Persons residing abroad

1. Identity Document: Passport or Identity Document

2. Document showing the tax identification number issued by the tax offices for Foreign Real Persons

3. Address Document: Passport containing address information or a copy of the invoice for the last three months showing the address of the person in the country where he/she lives

Deposit/Withdrawal

You can deposit/withdraw money from Vakıf Katılım Branches, ATMs and Public Bank ATMs free of charge.

Money transfer (Remittance, Eft, Swift)

You can make your transfers in TL, Foreign Currency and Precious Metals.

Financing and Credit Card Payments

You can make your payments via Vakıf Katılım Branch and ATM, Internet, Mobile branch.

Currency/Precious Metal Transactions

You can perform your foreign currency/precious metal purchase and sale transactions at appropriate rates.

Donation Payments

You can select the institution you will donate to from the Payments/Donation menu in our Branch or Internet and Mobile Branch and make your donation payment.

Rent and Dues Payments

You can make your payments via Vakıf Katılım Branch and ATM, Internet, Mobile branch.

Invoice, Tax and SSI Premium Payments

You can make your contracted institution payments via Vakıf Katılım Branch and ATM, Internet, Mobile branch.

Check and Bond Transactions

You can get a checkbook through your Vakıf Katılım account, and make your payments with your checkbook without experiencing a cash shortage.

You can apply for a Current Account Opening at our Vakıf Katılım Branch closest to you.

Nearest Branch
From Mobile Branch

You can apply for Current Account Opening from our mobile branch, which you can access easily and quickly

Mobile Branch

You can become our customer and open an account from the nearest Vakıf Katılım branch to you or through video call.

Account maintenance fee is not charged for the accounts you will open from Vakıf Katılım.

You can open more than one current account through Vakıf Katılım Branch, Internet and Mobile Branch channels. You can define more than one overdraft numbers to your account so that your account number remains the same.

If you already have an account, you can open an account via Vakıf Katılım Internet and Mobile Branch without going to the branch.

You can give any name you want to each account you define.

You can view all your accounts free of charge from Vakıf Katılım ATM and Public Banks ATM, or block your accounts that you do not want to display, by selecting the desired overdraft numbers that you allow through Vakıf Katılım Branch, Internet and Mobile Branch channels.

You can transfer TL, EUR, USD and Precious Metals between all Vakıf Katılım accounts with the remittance system. You can perform your money transfer transactions from Vakıf Katılım branches until 17:00, 24/7 via Vakıf Katılım ATM, Internet and Mobile branches. With the EFT system, you can perform your money transfers from your Vakıf Katılım account to another bank account. You can perform your EFT transactions from Vakıf Katılım branches until 17:00, and via Vakıf Katılım ATM, Internet and Mobile Branch until 17:20.

All deposits and participation funds, except those belonging to official institutions in the custody of credit institutions, credit institutions and financial institutions, are insured by the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund.

Except for those belonging to official institutions, credit institutions and financial institutions, the total balance of current and participation accounts up to TL 650.000 is covered by insurance.
