Cash Register POS

Cash Register POS is a new generation cash register which combines cash registers with POS devices used to receive payment by debit card or credit card.

What is Cash Register POS?

The payments received from new generation Cash Register POS devices, also known as Payment Recoding Devices (ÖKC), are transmitted to the database of Turkish Revenue Administration and the invoice is issued in the meantime. Thus, you don’t need to make transaction on both POS device and cash register.

How to Apply for a Cash Register POS?

You can apply at Vakıf Katılım Internet Branch and our physical branches.

  • To apply via the Internet branch, follow the steps below.
  • Log in to Vakıf Katılım Internet Branch, then follow the steps: Applications > POS Application > Cash Register POS.
  • On the screens that open, select the sector details, terminal type, and operating conditions.
  • After completing the application, you must approve the contracts from Mobile Branch > Left Menu > Contracts. You can view the status of your application from the application tracking menu.

You can obtain your POS transactions for the period in both Excel and PDF formats from Vakıf Katılım Mobile and Internet Branches.

It is compatible with all cards bearing the Troy, VISA, and MasterCard logos.

You can make contactless payments within the limits permitted by the legislation.

Transaction-based and monthly POS upper limits apply. For details, please contact our branches.

You can consult your branch for authorization to process foreign cards on POS terminals. 

Transaction reports can be obtained in digital formats and transferred to accounting systems manually or through integration.

In case of interruptions, you can check by calling our support line at 0850 202 12 02 or contacting your branch. It's very complex, but if I understand correctly, it can be expressed as follows:

  • It is suitable for taxpayers who are required to use payment recording devices under the Value Added Tax Law No. 3100 published by the Revenue Administration and related legislation.
  • First and second-class merchants who provide products or services to the final consumer after sale must use ÖKC, except for those exempted by the Ministry of Treasury and Finance.
