It is required to correct such record from relevant Provincial or District Directorate of Agriculture Forestry where such irregular entry is made.
Statistical data of long years, actuarial studies, loss-premium balance of each risk on the basis of product and location, the size of the damage and most importantly, the affordability of the premiums by the producer are taken into consideration and the necessary arrangements are made based on the principles of insurance business. During the issuance of policies in TARSİM branches, premium discounts are granted or additional premiums are charged according to past loss ratio of the insured block and plot / enterprise.
Plant products are insured on the first and last policy acceptance dates determined on the basis of product, province, district and village and the first and last policy acceptance dates are announced by TARSİM every year. The partners who use credits from the Agricultural Credit Cooperatives should pay attention to 6-month period. If the last acceptance date for the product to be insured has expired, a policy can be issued only for the hail package within the framework of the results of the risk analysis.
Following the issuance of the policy, a risk examination demand is made by logging in to yield determination demand section on the screens of the insurance companies. Following such demand, the situation will be evaluated according to the results of the examination to be made by the expert to be appointed.
The yield determination study is carried out at the appropriate phenological stage where the product yield can be determined; Supplementary policy transactions are evaluated according to the yield determination demand date.
Supplementary policy transactions are evaluated according to the demand dates and refunds are made according to the principles in the tariffs and instructions. If the policy has been used for more than 2/3 of the policy period, the premium of the policy cannot be refunded.
If there is more than one product on the same block and plot or in the same garden, the products are registered separately in the FRS and their policies are issued separately.
Notice of claim is made through the sales channel where the policy is issued within latest 10 days for hail damages and 15 days for other damages following the occurrence date of the risk.
No notice of claim is made in Village-Based Drought Yield Insurance. Damage compensation transactions are made on the basis of the difference between the actual yield average of the district and the threshold yield value of the village. For this purpose, the actual yield average of the district for the relevant product in the relevant year is determined by transferring to the system of the data obtained with monitoring of the development stages of the product in the reference parcels determined by Tarsim from planting to harvest and with the harvest of the product in the pre-harvest period. If the actual yield average of the village for the relevant year is below the threshold yield value of the district, all insured producers in the district are entitled to receive compensation. If the actual yield average of the district is not equal to or above the threshold yield value of the district, no compensation is paid to the insured producers in the district.
It is necessary to notify Tarsim via Call Center at 0850 250 82 77 within 24 hours from the occurrence date of the damage.
The compensation amount of the policies for the plant product branch is paid within 30 days after the policy expiry (harvest) date; the transactions in the damage files of the policies of Animal Life, Greenhouse, Tree / Sapling branches are completed and the finalized compensation amounts are paid within maximum 30 days. Due to nature of the plant product branch; the compensation cannot be paid before the policy expiry (harvest) date. However, in 100% total losses, payment can be made before the policy expiry date.
During the final appraisal, the information report regarding the loss/damage ratio determined by the expert is sent as a link to the phone number of the insured which was declared during the issuance of the policy. When this link is clicked, the transaction details regarding the damage are viewed. The loss/damage ratio determined here can be appealed with a petition within 7 days from the date of the appraisal. The objection is made through the sales channel issuing the policy. If the second appraisal does not satisfy the producer, the next step is to apply to arbitration. To apply to arbitration, the producer must have documents and photos of the damage. For this reason, the insured must also take photos on his/her own at the time of the appraisal process.
