What is the content of Group Private Health Insurance?

Private Health insurance is the type of insurance that provides coverage against medical expenses, treatment and medication expenses. With the approval of the medical advisors of the insurance companies, all expenses of the insured, such as surgery, long or short-term treatments, surgical or treatment-related medication expenses are covered in full subject to maximum limit or with exemption. Despite the differences in the practices of insurance companies, periodic health checks and similar expenses without any medical reasons are generally excluded from coverage.
Private Health Insurances have two main coverages. The first one is “Inpatient Treatment Coverage” and the second one is “Outpatient Treatment Coverage”.
Inpatient Treatment Coverage covers the expenses to be incurred by the insured in the hospital such as physician, operating room, assistant, anesthesia and other necessary and compulsory medical services during the hospitalization period for operative and non-operative treatment processes and intensive care and ambulance expenses.
Outpatient Treatment Coverage includes medical examination, diagnostic methods (such as MRI, tomography and laboratory examinations), outpatient treatments and medication expenses with minor interventions.
