What is Group Life Insurance?

It is a life insurance policy where the financing period is the policy period and the financing amount is the policy coverage amount based on financing provided from Vakıf Katılım which covers the repayment financing debt by the insurance company (Türkiye Hayat Emeklilik) to Vakıf Katılım in the event of death or permanent disability of the participant as a result of accident during policy period and further covers the refund of the surplus amount, if any, to legal inheritors of the participant. The policy can be issued with death benefit only and with death + permanent disability benefit.

What is the content of Group Life Insurance?

As a result of actual calculations made by insurance company, Türkiye Hayat Emeklilik, in the first quarter of each year; the surplus amount, if any, accumulated in the policy premium pool are returned to the accounts of the participants at Vakıf Katılım in proportion to their premiums.
