What is Urban Transformation Finance?

Within the scope of the “Law No. 6306 on the Transformation of Areas under Disaster Risk”, our Bank provides profit share supported urban transformation financing for the reconstruction of risky buildings or buildings located in risky areas.

In this context, in order to benefit from the profit share support provided by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change; it is required to obtain a “Risky Building Report” from the institutions licensed and authorized by the Ministry or a “Risky Area Report” from the relevant municipality.

What is the Content of this Finance?

Who Can Benefit from Urban Transformation Finance?

  • Beneficiaries who wish to reconstruct their houses,
  • Those who are resident in risky buildings for at least 1 year as tenants or limited real right holders.

Features

  • The maximum maturity for profit share supported housing loans to be extended to beneficiaries is 10 years for housing loans and 7 years for workplace (in profit share supported urban transformation financing, the maximum maturity is 10 years for houses and 7 years for workplaces).
  • The maximum amount of profit share supported financing to be extended to beneficiaries is TL 1.250.000. The total amount of financing to be provided with profit share support to the beneficiaries who own more than one independent unit shall be maximum TL 3.000.000 in total, provided that it does not exceed TL 1.250.000 for each independent unit.

The profit share support, maturity, rate and upper limits of financing to be provided by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change for the financing to be used by the beneficiaries from banks within the scope of Law No: 6306 are shown in the table below.
