22 Temmuz 2025

Since its establishment, Vakıf Participation has directed its resources toward the growth of the real sector and the facilitation of financial life. In the first half of the year, the cash support provided to SMEs reached 103.3 billion TRY.

Stating that, Vakıf Participation announced that the cash support provided to SMEs in the first half of 2025 amounted to 103.3 billion TRY. Stating that they provided 125.6 billion TRY in cash support to SMEs last year through collaborations with Chambers, Organized Industrial Zone Administrations, and Professional Associations to facilitate access to financing under favorable conditions, Vakıf Participation General Manager Mehmet Ali Akben said the following on the subject: We continue to support SMEs, which are the driving force behind the four pillars of stable economic growth—manufacturing, employment, exports, and innovation (4I)—with all our strength. With our services in digitalization, financial sustainability, and alternative financing methods, we aim to help SMEs become competitive not only in local markets but also on the global stage. We listen to the needs of our SMEs, develop customized solutions, and place great importance on supporting them on their path to sustainable growth.

“We are increasing our innovative products for our SMEs every day.”

In 2024, we offered valuable products for SMEs. Our e-Management platform p@ket was one of these innovative products. With p@ket, which combines the banking needs of SMEs and businesses with pre-accounting applications and provides significant conveniences in e-Ledger, e-Invoice, and e-Archive, we take pride in expanding our product range according to our customers' needs. Additionally, this year, we continue our strategy of widespread growth by signing various partnerships related to our p@ket application. Through protocols we have signed with valuable professional organizations such as the Craftsmen and Artisans Association, Trabzon Chamber of Commerce, Tokat Chamber of Commerce, Kahramanmaraş Chamber of Commerce, and İvedik Organized Industrial Zone, we have enabled association and chamber members to benefit from all the advantages of p@ket with exclusive opportunities. Finally, we are delighted to have added another collaboration to this list with the protocol we signed with the Ankara Chamber of Commerce in recent days.

Ease of conducting transactions via internet branch for SMEs

We have launched a remote account opening service for companies, another first in the banking sector for SMEs. This way, SMEs can easily open a company account by downloading the Vakıf Participation Mobile Branch app and conducting a video call with our customer representative from anywhere they choose, without having to visit our branches. With our e-Financing product, we enable our customers to apply for financing and utilize it online through the internet branch, based on their current limit and collateral status, without having to visit a branch. With our Direct Lending System (DBS) product, we have enabled our corporate customers to carry out important processes such as sub-dealer definition and limit determination without visiting a branch, through our internet branch. With GFT, which we offer exclusively to SMEs seeking to secure their payment and collection processes and which is also a first in trade, we have enabled businesses to track their receivables more securely and guarantee their collections.

“We provided free consulting services to over 500 projects exceeding 130 MW of power.”

In line with the “Presidential Economic Reform” and “Green Deal Action Plan” programs established under the “Paris Climate Change Agreement,” we are implementing projects related to Green Energy Transition and Energy Efficiency investments. “By collaborating with the private sector and public institutions in the energy sector, we have initiated efforts to secure financing for investments in areas such as Land/Roof Solar Power Plants, Wind Energy, Biomass, and Smart Cities. Within this scope, we provided free consulting services to over 150 projects exceeding 1.5 GW in capacity in 2024 and supported approximately 62 different projects with an investment of around 1.52 billion TRY, playing a leading role in reducing dependence on external sources."

“We will continue to make our resources available to SMEs.”

Mehmet Ali Akben also said the following about the 2025 plans for SMEs: "As an institution, we are continuing our efforts to transfer many products and services that provide solutions to our customers' needs to digital channels without slowing down. As always, 2025 will be a year in which we support SMEs and contribute to their production. With a focus on digitalization, we will continue to implement many innovative applications, expand our range of products and services, and make our resources available to SMEs based on a risk-return and efficiency approach."
