Vakıf Katılım was granted an award in “IDC Finance Summit 2019” with its “Adding Funds to İstanbulkart” Project that it offers to its customers through digital transformation journey of our age.
Bringing a fresh breath to participation banking by blending the sharing culture of foundations with the power of public sector, Vakıf Katılım crowned its service approach with a new award. Vakıf Katılım was awarded with the second prize in Inclusiveness Category with “Adding Funds to İstanbulkart through Online/Offline Channels Project” given by IDC Turkey at “IDC Finance Summit 2019” where outstanding digital transformation projects compete.
İkram Göktaş, the General Manager of Vakıf Katılım, emphasized their sensitivity to the technological transformation and stated that “We have entered the sector as a digital institution which employs new generation infrastructures in a period where the world experiences revolutions and new technological transformations in digital environment. We carry out studies and make significant investments in technology in a manner to meet the expectations and demands of our customers. In this scope, our project offered for Istanbulkart loadings which makes life easier and which is deemed worthy of an award is only one of our projects that we realized in digital field. Besides, we aim to increase our products and services to be offered through digital environment and to offer our customers value-added services such as biometric authentication, mobile wallet, artificial intelligence and internet of things.
Service to customer
With its award-winning “Adding Funds to İstanbulkart Project”, Vakıf Katılım enables its customers to inquire balance, load money and give regular loading orders through Internet Branch and Mobile Branch. Moreover, Vakıf Katılım’s customers can make their Istanbulkart transactions from Mobile Branch using Istanbulkart number or scanning QR Code on the card or placing their cards on their mobile devices with NFC feature.
