Executive Vice President
Tarık Börekçi was born in 1980 in Ankara. He completed his undergraduate degree in Economics in English at Marmara University and his Executive MBA at Sabancı University.
He started his banking career at Kuveyt Türk Participation Bank in 2004. Between 2006 and 2016, he worked at Türkiye Finans Participation Bank. In February 2016, he started working as the founding Treasury Manager at Vakıf Katılım Bank and continued in this position until July 2021.
Between July 2021 and August 2025, he worked as Treasury Director at Eksim Investment Holding.
Tarık Börekci resumed his position at Vakıf Katılım Bank in August 2025 and was appointed as Executive Vice President in charge of Treasury and Strategy Business Family on September 8, 2025.
