Mehmet BÜTÜN

Mehmet Bütün was born in İstanbul in 1980. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the Department of Management Information Systems at Boğaziçi University.

He worked as the Business Analyst & Project Manager in Turkcell and Türk Telekom (Avea). In 2010, he served as Department Manager in Business Development and the Miles & Smiles Loyalty Program and CRM at Turkish Airlines. In 2012, he joined Teradata Turkey Office as the Senior Industry Leader responsible for the Telecommunication and Media sectors. He provided consultancy services to his customers in the field of big data and analytics solutions for more than 3 years. He was then appointed as the Vice President responsible for Digital Services at Turkish Airlines at the beginning of 2016. He managed all digital channels and services of the Turkish Airlines and Anadolujet brands and the airport passenger systems.

On November 1, 2018, Mehmet Bütün joined Vakıf Katılım Bank as Director in charge of Information Technologies and was appointed as Assistant General Manager of Information Technologies on December 18, 2024. Mr. Bütün is married and has 3 children.
