Ersin ÇATALBAŞ

He was born in Sakarya in 1975. He completed his undergraduate study in the Department of Econometrics at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Dokuz Eylül University and his post-graduate degree at the Banking Education Department of the Educational Sciences Institute of Gazi University.

After graduating from the Banking School of Ziraat Bank, where he enrolled in 1998, he served as a specialist at the Department of Capital Markets until 2002. In 2002, he was involved in the establishment of the Internal Control Department of the same bank. Having served as an Internal Controller, Senior Internal Controller and the Department Manager at the Internal Control Department between years 2002 and 2014, he also served as the Branch Manager at Ziraat Bank between years 2014-2015.

In January 2016, he started to work as Internal Control Manager at Vakıf Katılım Bankası A.Ş. and continued his duty as the Chairman of the Board of Internal Auditors in April 2019. On August 26, 2022, Ersin Çatalbaş became the Director responsible for Vakıf Katılım Human Resources Business Family and was appointed as the Assistant General Manager of Human Resources on December 18, 2024.
